WHEN AND HOW WAS TEAM JET LIFT RACING FORMED?
In
2006, two modified drivers, Mickey Stubbings and Chase Hansen formed
a team together when they were both rookies in the modified
division. Ken Hansen, owner of Jet Lift Systems named the team and
became the owner of Team Jet Lift Racing. Dustin Hansen was already
apart of the team when he raced a go-cart at Desert Thunder Raceway
in 2005. Ryan Dimick then joined the team halfway through the season
in 2006 as well as Harvey Howard, but, he joined at the end of the
season. In 2007, Jeep Berry of Grand Junction, Colorado joined the
stable and won a lot of Dirt Late Model features and IMCA Modified
features. The team then added new cars that were the newly formed
IMCA Southern Sport Mods with drivers Dustin Hansen and Hubert
Wilson in 2008. In 2009, Laci Vasquez hoped into a IMCA Southern
Sport Mod and John Stephenson Jr. bought a chassis from Hansen and
joined the team. Kenny and Shawn Parish joined the team as well in
2009. Phil Baillie, Derek Neil, Greg Simmons, Wyatt Howard joined
the race team in 2010. Simmons left due to car owner letting him go
and Zane DeVilbiss added his name to the team in Spring of 2010.
