WILSON LOSES REAREND IN VERNAL!

VERNAL, UTAH (August 22, 2009) Diamond Mountain points leader, Hubert Wilson came to the Diamond Mountain Speedway in Vernal, Utah with a different car. Wilson piloted Laci Vasquez's IMCA Southern Sport Mod in Vernal this weekend. Wilson started the night off with a third place starting spot in the heat race. Wilson got the lead and battled Dustin Hansen and Gauge Smith for the win in the heat. Wilson would take second in the heat race. Wilson then would start in the third spot again for the main. Wilson was running well until the rear end went away. Wilson would finish in third. Wilson will either make the trip to the Diamond Mountain Speedway or the Fairgounds Speedway on Labor Day weekend

WILSON TAKES SECOND IN VERNAL!

VERNAL, UTAH (August 8, 2009) Price, Utah native, Hubert Wilson made the trek up to the Diamond Mountain Speedway in Vernal, Utah to try to hang on to his points lead in the Utah state points and the Diamond Mountain track points. He also leads the Desert Thunder Raceway track points. Wilson started in fourth in the heat race and would try to get the win as he was running on the high side. The top was a little rougher than the bottom so, Wilson thought he might have had some shocks going out so he pulled off the track. Wilson tried it again in the feature but he came home in the second spot. Wilson will be seen over there once again on August 22.

WILSON GETS ANOTHER VICTORY!

PRICE, UTAH (July 31 & August 1, 2009) Price, Utah native, Hubert Wilson made the trip to the Desert Thunder Raceway in Price, Utah to get yet another win at Price in 2009. Wilson is undefeated at the Desert Thunder Raceway this season. Wilson would win his heat and he went on to win. Wilson later started the main in the third spot and he would end up one lap down in the main and finish in third. The next day, Wilson won his heat again and then in the main he would have to run down a real fast Roland Thomas to win the feature, Wilson got around Thomas to get the feature win. Wilson plans to run at the Diamond Mountain Speedway in Vernal, Utah next.

VERNAL, UTAH (July 25 2009) The 2008 IMCA Southern Sport Mod Utah State champion, Hubert Wilson went on to race at the Desert Thunder Raceway in Price, Utah once again. Wilson won his heat and it put him starting in the rear of the field of the main event. Wilson took the lead and never looked back as he won on Friday night. The next day he would start in the rear of his heat and would finish in second to Dustin Hansen. Wilson then had to work around Hansen once again in the main. Wilson found away around the top of Hansen to take the lead and take the win. Wilson is scheduled to race at the Fairgrounds Speedway in Cortez, Colorado on July 10 & 11

PRICE, UTAH (July 3 & 4, 2009) The 2008 IMCA Southern Sport Mod Utah State champion, Hubert Wilson went on to race at the Desert Thunder Raceway in Price, Utah once again. Wilson won his heat and it put him starting in the rear of the field of the main event. Wilson took the lead and never looked back as he won on Friday night. WILSON TAKES HOME PRICE WINS!

PRICE, UTAH (June 12 & 13, 2009) Hubert Wilson, the winningest sport mod driver in Utah made the trip to the Desert Thunder Raceway in Price, Utah after winning in a different car the last weekend. Wilson won his heat and then went on to win the main event. Wilson also won the next day at the Desert Thunder Raceway. Wilson has won all four races at Desert Thunder so far this season. Wilson will head to the Diamond Mountain Speedway in Vernal, Utah next weekend.

WILSON TAKES VICTORY IN DIFFERENT CAR!

VERNAL, UTAH (June 6, 2009) After Hubert and Laci Vasquez were the only two IMCA Southern Sport Mods there, They switch cars. Hubert Wilson hopped into his Smiley's that Laci races and Laci got in Hubert's car. Hubert would go on to win both the heat and the main.

WILSON TAKES SEVENTH IN RYAN BARD MEMORIAL!

AZTEC, NEW MEXICO (May 23 & 24, 2009) Hubert Wilson of Price, Utah made the trip down to the second annual Ryan Bard Memorial at the Aztec Speedway in Aztec, New Mexico. This is Hubert’s second trip to this event. Wilson would be seen starting on the outside pole in heat race number two. Wilson tried a few different things prior to this race and it would be different for him because he would be seen finishing in the fourth position. Right after Wilson’s heat race it started to rain and it would rain out Saturday’s show and it would be postponed to Sunday night. The next day seen Hubert already qualified into the main event so that’s all he had to run. Wilson found himself starting in the fourteenth spot in the main event. Wilson run mainly run the high side and gain seven spots to finish in seventh. Then Hubert had to run the next show that night. Wilson would be seen in heat race number three with all three Jet Lift Sport Mods. Wilson started in the sixth spot and then mo ved to the fourth spot in his heat race. Wilson then found himself starting in the twelfth starting spot in the main event. Wilson would make his way forward until he was involved in a wreck and was then sent to the back. WILSON CROSSES THE LINE BACKWARDS IN VERNAL!

VERNAL, UTAH (May 16, 2009) Hubert Wilson was seen on the pole in the heat race and he would end up winning the heat which would set him on the pole in the Main event, on the start Wilson got a good jump on the pack and would lead until lap fourteen and would be passed by two cars. Wilson will be seen at the Aztec Speedway in Aztec, New Mexico for the second annual Ryan Bard Memorial.

WILSON DOUBLES UP WITH WINS IN PRICE!

PRICE, UTAH (May 8 & 9, 2009) Hubert Wilson of Price, Utah took his number 23h IMCA Southern Sport Mod to the Desert Thunder Raceway in Price, Utah. Hubert would be seen starting behind his daughter Laci in the heat race. Hubert raced his way to the lead a nd would win the heat race. Wilson then went on to win the feature also. On Saturday, Wilson started in the rear of the heat and went on to win the heat race. The former track champion went on to win again in the main event. Wilson will now be seen at the Diamond Mountain Speedway in Vernal, Utah.

WILSON GETS FIRST WIN OF THE 2009 SEASON!

VERNAL, UTAH (May 3, 2009) Hubert Wilson came into the weekend with a great race car and a great pit crew, for the heat race he would start on the pole with teammate Hansen starting behind him, when the green flag flew Wilson and Hansen broke from the pack with Smith close behind, the two battle the whole race, the two put on a great show with Wilson ending up winning with Hansen finishing with a close second, as the main event roled around the track had a lot of traction due to rain which would provide fast racing but not much passing, Hansen was right behind Wilson once again until on lap 17 Hansen broke a pinion on his car which would leave him in the infield and Wilson winning the race, Good job to all of the drivers from Team Jet Lift Racing.

VERNAL, UTAH (April 25, 2009) Hubert Wilson of Price, Utah made the trip to the Diamond Mountain Speedway in Vernal, Utah for the first time in his racing career. Hubert Wilson would later have a few problems with the handling of his car so, Wilson would take the runner up spot.
